Your treatment can be completed in three phases, though the number of appointments needed for each phase varies per case. All these phases will be completed at our state-of-the-art Hendersonville, TN practice, and led by Dr. Tabor and our experienced team. Rest assured, at every phase of your treatment we are providing the most personalized and highest quality care!
The most important step of your treatment, you will first complete a personalized consultation with Dr. Tabor. At this appointment, we’ll discuss how All-on-4 dental implants replace missing teeth as well as your personal goals and expectations for treatment. This phase will also include diagnostics, including an in-office CBCT scan, that help us create a custom treatment plan to match your oral health needs and specifications. You’ll have the option to choose calming sedation dentistry during your treatment; Dr. Tabor is licensed to provide IV sedation along with oral sedation and nitrous oxide. We’ll also have an anesthesiologist present for administration and monitoring of general anesthesia if you choose this solution. Once you’re comfortable with your treatment plan and what to expect during surgery, we’ll start precisely planning each step of your surgery to ensure precision and a faster recovery.
Your custom treatment plan will include a surgical guide fabricated with our in-house 3D printer or through nSequence along with a detailed map of the steps of your surgery. This meticulous planning beforehand helps us foresee troublesome areas and resolve issues. Your actual surgery will be virtually free from error! The All-on-4 treatment concept relies on just four dental implants strategically placed in your jawbone at specific locations and angles. This eliminates the need for a second surgery to place bone grafts, thus reducing your treatment time and overall cost while maximizing the final prosthetic outcome and bone and soft tissue aesthetics. Your body will need 4-6 months to fully heal and for the dental implants to integrate completely with your jawbone.
